A wonderful man and Coatbridge Legend who always encouraged people when teaching them to Swim in Coatbridge baths over many years.
The Christmas lights display that Alistair had at his home were something that many people travelled across the town to see and raised so much money for Charity .
Alistair was also a friend to many children over the years from his time as a Lollipop man something he only retired from a couple of years ago.
Coatbridge has lost a wonderful Legend thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad and difficult time.
